Doris Cochennic's Cocoons
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1/3 cup sugar
2 tsp water
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups sifted all purpose flour
1 cup pecans
powdered sugar
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add water and vanilla and mix well. Add
flour and pecans and mix well. Chill for 3 - 4 hours. Shape into
fingers. Bake in 325 degree oven on ungreased sheet for 20
minutes. Cool slightly and roll in powdered sugar.Yields 3 dozen
cocoons.
