Dianna Cheramie's Pecan Pralines

Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup milk
1 tablespoon clear corn syrup
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup shelled pecans (whole or pieces, NOT ground)

Directions:
Combine milk, sugar, syrup and butter and bring to a boil. Add pecans. Cook until the mixture forms a soft ball in cold water. Remove from heat and beat until thick. Drop by teaspoon on waxed paper. Cool completely.
